How can I order from Sugar Treat? How much notice do you need?
The business operate from home. Orders need to be placed in advance as we don’t have any cake or dessert on display.

We may be able to accommodate you for same day order (minimum 6 hours notice and simple order) but we prefer to have at least 2 weeks notice.
What kind of cake do you offer?
All our cakes are covered in buttercream or other icings. We don’t cover our cakes in fondant but you use some for decorations.
Edible prints are also available for cakes and cupcakes.

Do you deliver?
Yes, we do.
The fees are only $2 per km away from Chevron Island with a minimum charge of $10.
Please note that cake of 3 tiers and over have to be delivered and set up at the venue.
Why do I need to pay a deposit?
A non-refundable deposit of 50% is required to confirm you booking and for us to buy the ingredients and special tools required for your order.
Once you accepted the quote, your deposit should be paid within a week.
For last minute orders (less than one week) we required full payment at the moment of placing the order.
What payment methods do you accept?
Bank transfer is our preferred method. Sugar Treat bank details will be provided with your invoice.
Pick up : Balance of your payment can paid by bank transfer one week prior or by cash on the day.
Delivery : Balance of your payment can paid by bank transfer one week prior.
We can offer PayPal for full payment. This will incur a small fee (3% of your order).
We can organise weekly payments by bank transfer for orders over $200.
If you need to cancel your order the deposit is non-refundable. That is to cover other orders we have turned down for that day and the ingredients we had to buy.
Please note that we can always change the design or size of your cake up to a week before the pick up date. We can also keep you deposit for a future order (subject to availability).
Most of Sugar Treat cakes and desserts should kept in a cool room (preferably air conditioned) away from sunlight.
