- 2-1/2 C. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. Clabber Girl® Baking Soda
- 1 tsp. Spice Islands® Cream of Tartar
For the Creamy Almond Icing:
- 1/2 C. Crisco® All-Vegetable Shortening
- 1 to 2 Tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. Spice Islands® Pure Almond Extract
- 2 C. powdered sugar
- 1-1/2 tsp. meringue powder
